The local Sporting Champions program offers $750 grants to assist with the costs associated with representative sport.

The program is administered through the Australian Sports Commission with grants decided and awarded by local Federal Members of Parliament.

The grants of up to $750 each are provided to assist in the costs of travel, accommodation, uniforms and sporting equipment for young people aged 12-18 who compete at a state-level or higher.
